Nice way of standing in front of the other handle that's not painted
Ive said it before, youve done an awesome job. I have to say you should have won that burnout competition... and the new tires look great, i myself preferred the 37's on 22's as that's what im eventually going to do. Curious what gear ratios you are running in the axles
Plus, having set aside all the time to do something like this, is your day job in this field or is it just a hobby?
Nice way of standing in front of the other handle that's not painted Yeah, like I'd only paint one handle. that would look great....

I have to say you should have won that burnout competition... and the new tires look great, i myself preferred the 37's on 22's as that's what im eventually going to do. Curious what gear ratios you are running in the axles the axle swap was free to me, and should be perfect for 37's. i'll probably go back to them after I feel old manish, and get tired of jumping in and out. I'm hoping that will be a long time though.

It's my day job as well. I love the powerstroke, and the big crew cab, but no matter how unique I built the 4 different super duties I had before, it seemed like somebody else had one too similar. I just decided to go way different. Hope you all like it, and thanks for the compelments.
If it were mine, I'd have the original stainless West Coast mirrors, a '70 grille (I think that's the best-looking one that will bolt-in), and a big ol' chrome bumper. But there's no accounting for my taste (ask the wife)!
That's some class-act work you've done there! Especially the complete SuperDuty interior, including dash.
My block broke a few weeks ago when a piston decided to come apart. Now I've got a new balanced bottom end, lighter rods & pistons, slightly lower compression by way of bowl work, and super dragon flow 285 cc injectors from Industrial Injection. I'm also doing a set of prototype compound (twin) turbos from them as well. It should be good for 600+ horsepower at the rear wheels, but I guess we'll see in the next week or so when I have it finished.
The truck is on page 60 of Diesel World Feb. '09. I've got my compounds up and running, and the thing FLIES.... er, um, uh, ....flew.
Somebody put metal shavings in my engine shortly after, and the whole engine is destroyed. I'm seeing what the insurance will do for me. I still have to tweak with the turbo setup to get more clearance between the big (HT3B) turbo, and the evap. box on the right (of the engine compartment, not the pic). 50 psi was no problem. We did a ton of porting to the intake manifold, and stuck in the IIS 285 cc injectors. the tuning works well enough that there's only a little puff of smoke off the line when I jump on it, then it's clear. That, and there's almost no turbo lag. Judging off of my best dyno of 501 rwhp & 977 rwtq with the single turbo, and smaller injectors, I'd say this is now an easy 600+. I'd speculate 650, but that could be wishful thinking. I guess I'll find out after the insurance lets me know if I can afford to rebuild everything. If so, It'll be going on the dyno right away. And no, this is not identical to II's twin setup, similar, but not the same. I am running their turbos & injectors though.
I suggest a good alarm, hood lock, gas cap lock, drain plugs unique so this numb nuts who is sabatoging you can't do it again. Also, can you park it where you can have it in view of a webcam?
Aw man that is horrible. You have some serious money tied up into that engine alone, you gotta be LOOAAADDEEEDDD to do it yet again, but i hope the insurance company does at least something for you. Thats a cluster**** of piping up on top of the engine, but i like how it's laid out. Thats a clean setup!
I just saw this. Thats one sweet rig. Sorry to hear about the shavings. Hopfully you caught them and put metal shavings...well you know where
Hopefully all will work out for you to get it back on the road again.
