A hugely nice job though, the only real give away imo would really be the sound of the diesel and super duty door hinges.

I say leave the chrome trim off, may be paint the door handles to match, and may be later add the plastic stick on chrome covers to them??
This is really really a great project, something you will be very proud of driving around, and I feel that a truck magazine would be foolish to NOT come out and photo the truck as its built!! you sure do top quality work!!
I'm with the rest.....please keep us posted on the progress!!

What you are building is great. I say put the chrome back on. First stop when done should be the Super Nats in Tn.

Power Smoker, that's a great project! My first truck was a 72 f100 so I am very interested in the progress. What year grill do you have on there? It looks like a 69. I like it better than the plastic inserts that the 72 has.
