The only thing I can think of is maybe you bumped the connector on the passenger air bag switch and that threw the light. If the CEL is on, there should be a code. What are you using to read the codes?

I can't think of anything besides the passenger air bag switch that removing the dash might affect. Can you reach up in there to make sure it's plugged in? Maybe disconnect the batteries to clear the light and see if it comes back?

Edit: Too slow I see.

What programmer are you using to check for codes. I have heard that many of them are not very good code readers.
