gauge question(s)

i have the di pricol optix gauges egt, trans temp, boost and when when i bought them i didn't recieve a plug for the back of my trans temp gauge so yesterday i finally had time to take everything back down and wire it in. well i have the full sweep trans gauge and it has a seperate adapter and the gauge won't work with it hooked to it but if you hook the plug up directly to the back it works but i don't know if i'm gettin the correct gauge. and another thing is that now my egt gauge just sits on 300 and never moves. any suggestions are appreciated

sounds like your gauge isn't getting power to it and its stuck at its last reading... If I remember the EGT gauge has a power and ground wire as well as the wires going to the probe...???? If so... check your power source and your ground...

Hope that helps ya.. !

My gauges have separate wires again for the back lights !! There should be 2 more wires.... should there not ??????????

Mine has a power and ground for the lights.. the 2 wires that go to the probe .. and then there are a power and ground to activate the gauge itself.. Mine are Autometer though !!!!

I would call the place that you got them from first. They may have tech support. If you don't mind me asking where did you get them from?
