i have the di pricol optix gauges egt, trans temp, boost and when when i bought them i didn't recieve a plug for the back of my trans temp gauge so yesterday i finally had time to take everything back down and wire it in. well i have the full sweep trans gauge and it has a seperate adapter and the gauge won't work with it hooked to it but if you hook the plug up directly to the back it works but i don't know if i'm gettin the correct gauge. and another thing is that now my egt gauge just sits on 300 and never moves. any suggestions are appreciated
sounds like your gauge isn't getting power to it and its stuck at its last reading... If I remember the EGT gauge has a power and ground wire as well as the wires going to the probe...???? If so... check your power source and your ground...
well i know its gettin power because the backlights are workin
My gauges have separate wires again for the back lights !! There should be 2 more wires.... should there not ??????????
Mine has a power and ground for the lights.. the 2 wires that go to the probe .. and then there are a power and ground to activate the gauge itself.. Mine are Autometer though !!!!
i have the backlights and the actually gauge wired to the keyed hot so if the backlight is workin the gauge should also. should i call the place i got the gauges or dipricol directly
diesel power products. they have been good to me. when i ordered the gauges it was dipricols fault i didn't have the harness and they sent me another one. i'll give them a call and see what the sayabout my egt gauge and they are gonna have to send me an adapter for my trans temp gauge regardless
