Alright just got finished. Im officially converted over to the 6637. The K&N tube fits it like a glove. Now for the DP
You're off to a great start, but it will get expensive. I used one of those damn K & N's for a long time, but got lucky and did no damage. Probably because I kept a close watch on it.
Kind of ...If you went into any independent diesel shop and you saw a poster (some advertisement that indicated they sold K&N's) for, or they recommended a K&N filter, would that be enough to make you leave quickly? It would be enough for me...but I am just curious as to how strongly others feel about it.
Joe's absolutely right... there are a number of phrases you can use to describe what Joe means by "different".
...."very high air flow with higher filtration efficiency"
...."very high air flow with less dirt in your intake"
...."longer turbo wheel life"
...."lower silica content in your oil"
...."less internal engine wear"
.... etc.
And Chris is right, I can make the covers for the 6637, AFE Stage II Proguard 7, AFE Stage II Proguard 5 Dry Filter, and AFE "Big Boost" 6637
