Has anyone installed a cold air intake and Air filter? If so did you see any increase in fuel millage?

One of our own here has ran into warranty claim denial and the flagging of his VIN for installing an aftermarket intake. It happened to be an AFE. The denial was for various CEL's after the reflash...and IIRC tires were involved

Check this thread:

Its appearing to me that we can't touch much of anything on this truck or Ford will clean their hands of customers who do.

To answer your question, I personally don't think it's worth it.
This truck has plenty of power and better MPG than the 6.4L fully stock.

Well I have had LOT of problems with mine. Ford service engineers have been to the dealer to work on mine twice now. The local dealer has been unable to properly diagnose my drivability concerns it's been at the shop 8 times for the same problems I love the truck but I wish they had people that were qualified to repair them the FIRST time the truck comes to the shop.

Sounds like the 6.0 fiasco all over again, but we won't go down that road....

If you give Ford Engineers enough time, you'll either:

A) End with your truck fixed
B) End up with a new truck

Either way you'll come out on top, just make sure and keep everything documented.
