I screwed up when I first got my truck and bought the K&N cold air intake. I was wondering if there is another filter that will fit in its place without changing the whole cold air intake. Thanks
I made the same mistake as you (before I discovered this forum and the path to F250 PSD Righteousness). Do like I did, bite the bullet, de-install the K&N and install the 6637 mod. You'll be glad you did !
Nice looking setup and looks like the way to go. Id bet it will have to increase power and mpg? Any tests been done on that as i know its popular? The stock system looks to me like its the same size as my old Ranger! Anything should be better than that
If the K&N tube is 4" OD, you could just slide the 6637 right over it, and clamp it in place. Here's what mine looks like with a piece of 4" OD SS exhaust as an adapter:

I don't think I could tell the difference in power, but the noise is great. I put the 6637 in at the same time I started useing DK, and had a 1 mpg gain. Might be the combo together that did this.
