I think the true art of doing nothing is refined with age. When I was younger (oh, no. Here we go with that "back in my day" crap), many of the times I thought I was doing something, it happened that what I thought I was doing was really nothing after all. These days, I know better than to try to fool myself.

I'm sippin' some A-bevs and floating in the pool with the munchkins.

Changed the oil/filter on the Sooper Doody today. I just love my freakin' truck!

I'm about due a change. I'm thinking of going syn this time, as I'm up to 30k.
Any thoughts on that?

I've been 'Synnin' since 5K with 6.0hhhyyyesss!

I'm yankin' the Warrior around a lot so it made sense to me. Even if I wasn't I would still go synthetic with this Diesel engine.

IMO it's worth it due to the high-performance nature of the beast. This is one kick butt engine if you treat it like it should be treated. Hi-Perf means more frequent oil/filter changes, etc.

Those who treat the 6.0 like an 'old school' Diesel are making a huge mistake. Especially if it's massaged. Eh Steve?!

I kinda massage it on the highway sometimes, just to see what I can get out of it on the fuel economy.

If you look at the SoCalVideo thread that Brian posted, I'm not really massaging it there.

Massage = SCT or Takin' it to the Banks.

Due to the manner in which the 6.0 shears oil viscosity I highly recommend synthetic.
