The part that is great for the average wrench is you don't need to have the rear diff set up after the install. It just installs right in your current carrier. I have heard a few guys say they don't like them but most of the them are hard core wheelers. I guess having a heavy truck with some good torque might be a test as well but its a chance I am willing to take.
Ya, have heard the same. some of the cheaper auto-lockers have a bad rep for breaking.
