maybe its cause thats what he had the most practice with..PMT1 is the first real PCM...early99 has the xle..most got changes over to pmt1 in 99.5..just another down fall for modding the early bird and why alot of chips and tuners wont work....
Ron, do you have any idea of how many different PCMs for the 99.5 to 03's that is out there?

Thanks Robin, I don't know if I could buy something like that on ebay. No retruns or nothing.

I don't have a part # for it. I wonder if the dealer part people would? Might be worth giving them a call.

I will have to go to the one and only dealer here in Payson and point it out to them on an exploded view. That's what I had to do looking for parts to the FPR. He pointed to the IPR and then wanted to argue with me that the IPR controlled fuel pressure. When I finally got the price for the three parts of the FPR, 70+ bucks, I just walked out. Thank God for

Robin, when I bought my o-rings for my auto hubs, I had to go back home and get the part number off Guzzle page because they said you could not take the hub apart. They made a note in their book incase anyone ever ask for that part again. These were the outside o-rings. Go figure.

I went in there to get new backs for my towing mirrors(mine are scratched up) and they said I couldn't buy just the backs, I had to buy a new pair of mirrors at 360 bucks. I found them at an OEM online discount site for 22 bucks apiece.

They also told me the sway bar end links could not be rebuilt. I did buy the new links because I didn't want the hassle of doing it. But I only shook my head when they said that.

Ray, we have the same truck except the 4x4. I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I know nothing about these things. Why would you want to change anyway?

Looking in the link you provided, the MNM-1 is a 99' PCM. I wonder why it is in there. I would give Jody a call and see what he has to say about this one. But there is a lot of different PCMs for the 01'.
