Code P1451. What to do?
2003 F150 XLT 5.4L 60,000miles
My truck is throwing code P1451. It came on 3 days ago. One week before that the check fuel cap light was on. I disonnected the battery and the fuel cap light went out but now the check engine light is on.
What is it and how do I fix it?

Apparently it's an electrical problem in the Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit.
Where can I find the canister vent solenoid?
I'll check for broken wires and bad connections.

The red wire going to the Canister vent solenoid was broken half way up the harness. I spliced in a new piece.
I drove the truck around and turned it on and off but the light never went off. I disconnected the battery and the light went off. I then drove around turning the truck on and off 4-5 times and the light has not come on yet.
Hopefully it stays off.

It probably will as the broken wire would directly cause that error.
The system may take a few weeks to re-run all the on-board monitors, several of which have tight entry requirements in order to run. Since that electrical fault has been cleared, there are now additional monitor testing that may be performed, so all the results may not be in for days or even weeks.
