code 1451, finally got around to checking it
Well i posted awhile back about an EVAP code but didn't know what it was. Well the code is 1451, Evap circuit malfunctions. Throws the code every time i start the truck but doesn't come back until i start the truck again.

I unplugged the electrical connector to the evap solenoid while the engine was running and threw a code, but I won't swear that it was 1451. I'm not with my truck now or I'd check. I believe the 1451 code is specific to evap electrical circuit issues and not triggered by leaks (bad gas cap, etc.). Bad wires on the charcoal cannister end of the circuit maybe? Here:

Did you check the wiring as was suggested in the other thread?
Have you checked the solenoid coil to make certain it is not open?
Checked for corrosion in the connector?
Lots of simple stuff to check first.
