Yeah unless they have the slug 2.3L 4 banger with an auto trans. My mom had a 1990 vert 4 banger and that car absolutely sucked.

My dad has a 01 v8 GT with some wide *** 315 rear tiries. fun as hell to drive and has a very nice pull. well i know it can do atleast 148 b/c of my brother. lol

Brian, the best thing might be to drive all of the Mustang models and drive train options.
I've been a Fox Chassis Mustang enthusiast sine 1997. This latest generation of Mustangs is nice and very improved cars compared to the earlier ones.
These new modular motors are completely different than what the old Windsor mills felt like.

My father picked up a 07 GT last September. That is one heckuva car. I think he averages around 20mpg driving to work and whatnot and has gotten 25+mpg on the highway. I think he paid around 28k for it fully loaded minus the auto transmission.

I got my 07 from a lady that won it in Reno, on a slot machine, I got with 550 miles on it, it had been sitting from Oct. 06 until Aug. 07. I got it for 18k. Running to work and back it gets 25.5 mpg, open road is over 30.
