Well I'm finally thanking the big guy upstairs. We have finally gotten enough rain to wet everything throughly here in Cold Lake. It seemed to keep going around us but in less than a week, we have had 2 1/2 inches of the lovely stuff. Where we live, it's all sand so it's pretty hard to get too much rain but give it a few days and we can use some more.
Going camping this weekend. Can't wait to get paroled from work early to get out there. Hubby is already enjoying a few cold one's by the fire. Lucky bugger.

hi sherm,
in practice yesterday my buddy chris hallberg got hit with a 38lb lead bar.
that we use for ballast weight. ripping a big hole in the top or roof of the race car. right before the front top hoop of the rollcage! and just tumble over the top the car ripping a big hole in roof of the racecar. mind you we do asphault late models spendy and fast. the body is a 2008 monte carlo body. and that should not have happened that scared all of us on the crew including chris and he was driving. we now have a skylite!
south sound speedway medic, officials, and tech was johnny on the spot!
they met us the crew at the pits, wanting to know if chris is ok! he got out of the car and said a little but not stirred. we came in 6th last night.
ford ranger
we race with a gm sealed crate engine. 400 hp motor! on a 3/8's mile track
oval of coarse. that was the scaryist part of the night!
