I dont have a rain gauge set up either, but it rained quite abit out here. With teh supposed nice weather coming up next week, everything should shoot right up.
Lots of grass to cut, the JD and the Ford will be busy. Now I have to get a metric Allen wrench set to adjust the mower belt.
I really hate metric junk, thanks to JAPAN/Europe!

Here's one for ya --- our John Deere combine is fully metric!!!
We expanded our inventory of metric tools when we got the combine, but you know how the green stuff is - the wrenches are still in the original packaging!!
Haha I like that one warren!
What kinda combine you guys got? We have an pull type 7720 and that thing is amazing. We also have a IH 1460 self propelled that hasnt been amazing!
We have a 9610 but its getting well worn. We went from two 1680's to the one combine and did a ton of acres with it. We have dropped lots of acres and are doing some summerfallow now so it doesnt have to go as hard any more. I like the new rotary Deere but cant see that kind of money being spent here. I am thinking more of retirement than expansion!
Hard to say where JD or any other brand of vehicles or equipment is made, my neighbour has a fairly new 40-50 hp tractor assembled in India.
The cheapest labour gets the work, soon we`ll all be down to a low standard of living in order to compete.
