Cooper Discoverer ATR. Just put a set on my truck last week and I love them. E rated tire with a 50,000 mile warranty. Good deep tread - quiet on the road and highway and not overly aggressive - just enough for what I need for hunting each year. Also highly rated for snow and ice which makes sense up here in Canada.
I second this idea.I run these tires on my truck and have real good service out of them.I've tried the others but was more satisifed with the coopers.michelins are to expensive ,,and Goodyear translates to" Good for a year".
Since I didn't get much feedback good or bad about the LTX-M/S's, I went with my past experiences and sprung for a set. 265/75-16s load range E. We'll see how it goes....
I have 325/60R18 Goodyear Silent Armor Pro Grades on my 2007 F-350.
I often have 2000-3000lbs in the bed, plus my toolbox. Also, tow 9-12,000lbs a lot as well.
I have 22,000 miles on them in the year that I've had than only used 5/32" of tread so far. I have them rotated every 5-6k since it's free. I should easily get over 50,000 miles on them before I replace them.
I run the Goodyear Extra Grips on my 2000 F-350 CC LB SRW 4x4 and run up and down I-35 from TX to MN 2-3 round trips a year, or at least i did before it took a months pay to pay for fuel. Anyhow, these are great tires for a 4x if thats what you need I have little traction issues on the slippery roads in texas when they are wet and little treadwear issues due to the heat and runnin bout 75 psi in all 4 lets me get 16-18 MPG in town and better on the road even hauling. In MN cold snowy winters they rate a 9 of 10 for traction which I can attest to I have never gotten stuck even in hood high drifts and will continue to shoe my horse with the Extra Grips till Goodyear quits makin em.
