92 f350 overdrive button question?

92 f350 overdrive button question?
My 92 f 350 diesel drive good and seems to shift fine, but recently the overdrive button light blinks constantly. It shifts in and out of overdrive but the light never stops blinking. Is the light saying somethings wrong? Is this something i should be concerned about? I just had a transmission go out in my other truck and im just making sure there isnt anything going on here. Thanks guys and help will be greatly appreciated.

Your transmission computer has thrown a fault code. Get it scanned ASAP, or you can get an OBD-1 scanner in the $30 range and scab yourself. Could be as minor as a sensor, or as major as a slipping clutch.
