Water bypass ?

Water bypass ?
I am planning on using a summit stage 2 intake on my engine, they come with holes tapped at the rear of the intake to plumb into the heater hose from the water pump. I know they dont come stock this way so what would be the gain from doing this or should I just plug them?

plug them use the front ones ....
the water comes into the head in the rear from the block and travels to the front where it exits the heads into the intake and out the thermostat. so if you take the water from the rear of the intake it's not making the full trip...
makes sense to me...
