i got an issue with my truck. its leaking oil from under the intake tube that goes into the drivers side head and its right under the turbo intake. here are some pictures. i think it may be a head gasket but i havent had any white smoke and my oil is not milky or doesnt it have any antifreze in it.
also, its all clean in the intake tube.
i can watch it run down the block from were that "intake cover" bolts onto the head, and the head meets the block (all in the same spot) so i don't think it is coming from the turbo pedastool cause i can watch it run down the block when the truck is running, now besides the oil laying in the valley and then running down the sides of the motor, there are no unusual symtoms. oil looks fine not much whit smoke, coolent looks fine not really lossing any of that. so im not sure where the leak is coming from
I am just reading this thread for the first time and I know you guys already started tearing things apart from the other thread but I don't think there is oil pressure flowing thru the head gasket. I would be willing to bet that oil is coming from a high pressure oil rail plug and it finding its way down to the spot you see or something like that. I just don't think it will be the head gasket
neither did i. it was weird. when we did pull the head bolts out from that side tho some of them in the area of the leak were wet. like water wet. you could see where the water and the oil on the bolts were all separated.
