C8AE-H heads

I hace a pair of C8AE-H heads I found in a shed my book lists them as a 427 peice but I highly doubt that except for the fact that a fat chick could pass through that big ol intake valve. What are they for, and are they worth much. if there a pretty basic head Ill just give them to my buddy for his galixie.

Very typical late '60's head for 360's, 390's, 427's and 428's. They are a common head from 1968 until 1972 when the D2TE-AA heads came out.

Std valve size was 2.05 in and 1.55 ex. Maybe they were upgraded to 2.09 in and 1.65 ex CJ size?? Worth a measure! Yep they were std FE issue on many. Whats the bolt count on the exhaust side?? If 14 they are "GT" ex bolt pattern. 8 or 16 are the others common to find. True 14 bolt GT pattern are worth a little more to the S code resto guys. Larger valve size also a plus!!
