in the rain i can break my tires loose at 70mph only did it twice and each time was cause i did it by accident the first time with my ex and the other time was cause i didn't believe it was possible the first time hahaha
If your trans is in good shape, i think you'll be fine with a modded valve body and upgraded torque converter. IMO you dont need a full billet ($$$$) converter. I just installed a modded 6oh converter in my truck and it feels MUCH better than the late model 4r100 triple disk i had in before.
Im not sure I understand the shift flair description about the cure and how to test to see if it will work?
What Im noticing is what seens like a slight hesitation in the shift at 40mph.
It seems to be accelerating ok but I feel a slight bump after it shifts occasionally.
It also bumps like this downshifting.
It has also been very noticable when towing a trailor.
When accelerating the hesitation is longer and the bump is harder.

Is this flair what Im describing?
How would I know if my TC is ok?
sounds like shift flair to me. To test it lock out OD and accelerate normally then after the TC locks turn OD back on. try that a few times. You should notice a difference.
