Ok, i've yet to see anyone mention him, so i must say,
CHECK OUT RACERX!
Racer X Automotive
Shoot him an email with your truck and what you want in terms of HP/TQ, as well as towing requirements, and specific abuse your truck sees. He'll tell you exactly what you need. good luck!

Shift flair is when the shift is too slow or there is slippage so during the shift the engine RPM flairs up more than it should.

the 3-4 shift is usually the worst becuase of the pcm programing concerning the torque converter engagement. "the cure" addresses this concern. a shiftkit will fix the actual shifts themselves. the 2 together should make for a really nice feeling tranny. does anyone have both?

Some people don't have that kind of self control.I seem to have a bit of an addictive personality so when I have the power on tap I have a hard time not using it!

I went to college in Lima, OH for 2 years and there was an oil refinery there. There was something about their roads that I think they were covered in oil cause when they were wet they were like ice! I had a 2wd 4 banger ranger at the time and most of the time when it was wet I had to start in 2nd and slip the clutch just to get moving! that was the only time those tires would ever spin though! LOL
