Question 85 bronco

i found a 85 bronco with 351, c6 tranny, 208 transfer case, 9" rear end, front locking hubs, 4.11 gears. they are asking 1500. Im thinking about purchasing it for a toy. What do you all think?

may be worth it dependin on the shape of it running cond. ect, however for 1500 id almost bet that you can find a 78-79 Bronco or a 73-79 truck, actually i know theres a couple out there now that could be had for that, just my .02

It does sound like a decent deal. All comes down to condition, and how it runs/drives.

for a toy, you're better off going with something solid axled like country boy. Less hassles later.

The engine is strong, floorboards are solid new gas tank. 35" mts. the only thing is that it doesnt have a solid front axle and fender wells are rusted, but id cut them out anyway other than that it is pretty solid and strong running

sounds like youve already made up your mind, why ask what we think? Your will regret not having that solid front axle and then want to swap one in eventually im sure, which will cost $$$$ and for that money you could already have a 73-79 truck with a solid front axle and a bunch of other goodies for the same price as this truck + solid axle

Well i already have a 95 F250 that im building right now and not bing able to play in the mud isnt any fun. But after i build my truck i will proly use it as a back up truck. Its already got 35''s and i have a set of 38" tsls im gonna throw on it so it wont take much money to get it out into the mud.

If you wheel with 38s on that bronco its going to bust up shafts left and right.
