Power Steering Hose
Went to replace the hi-pressure power steering hose that i had special ordered for my truck when I noticed that the new hose has an opening coming off the hard plumbing portion of the hose that some 'pressure switch' screws into. My truck does not have this switch. So, can i just plug this opening off and run that way?

I just bought the same hose for my truck today at lunch and it came with a plug for that hole. My truck has the switch, but it is not plugged in. On some vehicles, it's to tell the ECU when it needs to jack up the idle because you are at full lock on the ps. So if your truck has no switch you can just plug the hole.
