that would be ideal, but it would be expensive and it wight change the size slightly, causing problems with re installation.
Another idea to make it brighter is to get rid of those blue caps. My LED's weren't quite as bright as I'd hoped for but when I pulled those blue caps it made a big difference in the brightnes.
Date = a day on the calander, or people getting together.
Summary : Here come a pack of wolves
Heh.
I think what Dennis is trying to say is that a lot of people would be interested in testing these parts...but there are probably not that many opportunities for someone to be chosen.
Wannabe testers will circle like a pack of wolves around a kill.
Bottom line, I have a feeling Dennis will be sure to let whoever might be a tester KNOW they'll be a tester. If you haven't heard anything from him, it would be best to just let it go.
When it comes to being Fair ...I am probably the Fairest in the land.
The recipient of these prototypes are being chosen carefully and there will only be one person/owner of each year truck chosen.
1976 has already been chosen.
Hipoparts requires what they consider "The Right People for the job" to do an technical evaluation for this product because it will be marketed throughout the world and they don't want to have more expenses than income from problems arising.
Now, if an opportunity comes up for a train trip testing an open air freight car to the south pole.. I'll give you a call J/K
I used to do product testing at ZDNet for a few years, I can confidently tell you the type of individual who will be selected:
The eligible candidate will be a mature individual who owns a qualified vehicle in known good working condition.
This individual should be familiar with basic automotive concepts and able to follow directions. Previous experience in product evaluation and documentation is preferred.
The tester must be able to effectively and clearly communicate their experiences in a wide array of evaluation; from the items appearance upon receipt to the visual inspection of the components. Accurately documenting the effectiveness of the directions is a must. The need to prepare and document potential changes to the directions is required. A mastery of the English language is required in order to effectively communicate your findings within, I presume, a predetermined time frame.
Actual product performance and luminosity is perhaps the last thing to evaluate and document. Instead, attention to detail during each step of the directions seems to be the primary focus.
The tester must perform the installation in a timely manner and report their findings to the appropriate individuals only.
