I purchased the white gauge kit and the specified number of 194 bulbs, which was 4. The dash takes two for lumination, I didn't change out the warning lights, High Beam light or turn signals. So that left me with two. I changed out the Heater/AC control and then had one bulb left over. I figured this went to the head lamp/wiper portion of dash but it has a different bulb. Where do all 4 of the bulbs specified suppose to go for a 1979 Ford F100? If I am right, I believe I need two BA9 bulbs for the Radio and head lamp/wiper.
So a 1979 Ford F100 retaining the stock Turn Signal, Brake Light, High Beam, Seat belt light bulbs would need:
3 194 bulbs for the Instrument Cluster and Heater/AC controls
2 BA9 bulbs for the Radio, Headlamp/Wiper
1 more for the gear selecter also if equipped (BA9)
