2 problems with my f250

I have an 02 F250 SC 4x4 SB and I had problem #2 until yesterday. It turned out to be the sway bar end links. It felt like something under my foot was loose near the driver side front leaf spring and was most active when turning to the right and when going over a pothole. The ball joints were replaced just prior to me purchasing the truck so I had already ruled them out. As a side note, I also put a set of Bilstein HDs and new rotors and pads on and am very pleased with the results.

I had a spark plug blow out last week. I thought it was some kind of exhaust leak a couple of forum replys sent me in the spark plug direction. Did you have to replace the head when yours blew? I was able to thread the plug back in but I need to replace the coil it was shot. How will I know the head needs to be replaced? 99F-250SD 5.4 Triton

I have had three different 5.4 trucks including my '05 f350 now with broken exaust manifold studs. The new ones from ford are coated with a bronze coating. I have never had one break again after replacement. This weekend I do the third truck since my '97 failed in '99...of course right after the warranty had expired! Now I am used to the job, just take your time and get all new studs including the ones for the manifold to front pipe. I am just waiting for my wife's v10 excursion to need them too, but at 110k it is still quiet...I guess it is a VERY common problem with the 5.4 motors????????
