Gauges in... high boost?

Got my gauges in and work after alot of agervation, now ive heard that 25lbs is as much as we want and ive heard as much as 36lbs. my truck is showingas much as 35lbs. but also i dont have my boost coming from my map sensor, we had to tap the intake manifold on the top.

constantly going over 40 psi is when head gaskets start going pop. you should be ok with hitting 35 every once and a while, although i wouldn't recommend it

40 psi is for the head gaskets. some say 25 for the turbo while others say 35. My first turbo failed at 33 psi. Thrust bearing went out, using 10w30 rotella in the winter.

Don't run the boost over 30 psi very often.

Are you running stock injectors and turbo and getting that kind of boost? Even with a DP tuned truck, I thought stock injectors and turbo were only good for around 25ish maybe 30 with chip... I'd wondering if something is up with the gauge... .02

I made 26 before the stage 1's. That was with the SC 1705. Now, I'm not sure. My guage doesn't go that high. Also, my truck was a cab and chassis, so there was no rev or speed limiter on mine.
