Thank you all for you tips for better mileage. I want to take that extra tank out of bed but hubby thinks we should keep it for when we do long trips. We dont ever fill it, it is just taking up space in the bed along with my spare.

As for my tires they are an aggresive tread by ProComp. I am always making sure they are at the right pressure.

Just cleaned the air filter 3 months ago. One of the fuel filters was changed in Dec when truck was in shop for a fuel leak.

Turbos were replaced in Aug, no more blow by, yet.

I wont use the lie-o-meter next time i fill up and see what i am getting. The 11.8 it says is a combo of highway and city driving. Have to take freeway to get almost anywhere from where we live.

I will look at getting the programmer from DP right now.

Thanks again!

That KN really has to go. Especially if you live in a desert climate. It is junk, simple as that! I would say the most important mod I made on my truck was going to the 6637, and I curse the man that sold me my KN at least once a month. I'm just lucky I did not do any damage I am aware of over the years I did put up with it.

Right now i get 15 combined but i have a problem with playing with the programmer a little i would like 17-18 combined with the 37's that would 20 with the 35's we will see when it warms up

Need more help please. I just called a shop here in town to see if they had the SCT and he told me I would be better suited with the superchip 1705 with my 7.3. Anyone use this, if so how do you like it. Should i look into this or stay with what I wanted to get, the SCT X3????

Thanks again!

why not get some gauges and the DP? You will be much happier.

I already have guages, the 3 pod was on my truck when we bought it. That is the only reason I am not getting something with a display. I looked at the DP website and am thinking of getting the SCT there, just wondering how much they charge per custom tune or if I will see enough improvement of the pre-set tunes. Thank again guys! You know how to make a girl feel welcomed!

I live close enough to DP that when I win the lottery I'm going to drive over there and get a custom one. Even though I am fairly happy with my Superchip I think I will like a DP better. I tried to trade Jody a $400.00 puppy for a tuner, he got a big kick out of the offer but said his son was allergic to dogs. So much for that idea.

Looks like there $45 per custom to to add them on there. If your going for fuel economy I would get 80 econo from them.

You'll love that tune -- it dyno'ed on my truck at about 290 RWHP. MUCH better than stock...

Ha, he is one, plus this may sound feminine, but he is flat adorable. Would post a photo if anyone was interested. He's a Shih Tzu, and should turn out very small as both his mother and father are. I own the mother and do not need 2 babies in my motor home or I would keep him.

I can not even see in the bed of the truck unless I have shoes on. Like the looks I get when a little girl gets out of big red truck with flames on it. Ha ha. Ego boost! Also the looks you get when you jump out and leave it on to cool down, they look at me like that damn girl just left her truck on. haha
