HPOP res
My plug to check the oil in the HPOP was rounded out in the center so you couldnt put a alan wrench in it.
I tryed a few things but including a chisel so know its really had it.
Does the top come off easily so I can drill it out?
What about the gasket is it something Ill find hard to replace or can I use silicone?
What kind of decrotive cover do the 94 PSD have.
The cover over the HPOP and the fuel bowl.

They are both round just like my plug hole now.
It looks like the top comes off the res.
Has anyone every taken just the top off?

Yes I have had the cover off before. pretty easy but like Joe said it has a formed rubber o-ring as well as one portion that is siliconed.
I have had luck using a set of curve jawed pliers and catch the lip of the plug.

I was thinking eazee out.
But if I drill right through the plug thats going to but steel shavings in the pump and I dont suppose that would be good.
No lip left as I tryed a chisel and took the lip off all the way around.
Its flush with the top of res now!

I used a eazee out and got it out but the bad news is I bought another 1995 PSD tonight and it looks like theres a bunch of little things to fix on it.
So you may see a bunch of me ..............sorry!

JB WELD it.
get a bolt that fits on the inside of the hole, fill it up with JB weld and stick your bolt in there.
let it dry over night. then spay it down the penatration oil really good maybe apply a little heat and try turning that sum bitsh out of there. thats what id do befor i start drilling and welding and such.
