Bart,
That will do the job. It will be interesting what the final bid ends up. 3 years ago my friend in Pahrump that I have mentioned in pass posts bought a 2002 2wd for $9800 in Florida he had to go get it. It had 130,000 miles. So your alright where you are price wise. It is right here in Arizona. Hope you get it.
You might check autotraders.com also. But be careful of California vehicles. Because I understand that California still uses PINK SLIPS & Arizona won't except them without a bunch of signed affidavits, proving the person is the legal owner etc. So be aware.
remove bed order service body from ASH, drake, redding or someone. if Ray and Bobs trucks gets on it it is $1500. new would be around $2500
I'm not sure how familiar with ebay you are......but don't get involved in the early bidding war and drive the price up!!!!! Just sit back and watch, wait until the VERY END and then bid the maximum you are willing to spend, if it's meant to be........you'll get it (even if it is a Dodge)
Ok I am working on a deal to take over all of the service and maintenance of all trucks, tractors, farm equiptment, semi's, earth moving equiptment, and everthing else for Maughan Ranches! 20 + ranches in Arizona. this might be a big job. do I really want to quit being a helicopter mechanic? wow what a big decision.
are you going to be changing the oil on every vehicle?
that could be a full time job in itself...
what kind of response time do you have on break downs?
lube oil and filters every 3,000 miles on all vehicles, yearly servicing of trans. differential, and coolant with safety inspection of all vehicles. all service by mfg schedule on all farm equipment, dozer's graders loaders.
call out is on my time schedule.
dodge ford which one i have owned both over the years and used to haul bobcacts small hoes and rollers this debate got me to looking through my records and from what i see the ford was down for repairs less .the pump on the cummins was always a pain as was the shut of solinoid and the tranny true they were over worked the ford would out pull the dodge fully loaded. the dodge did get better mpgs 21 vs18 andthe ford only had brake and electrical probs and the dreadid door handel curse.love the powerstroke cummins has probs to wait till that inj. tip breakes off.
Is it a PowerStroke or what? Nice looking truck We can all give our ideas, the bottom line is you have to use & maintain it. One thing Bart is you know I bought that Blazer & I'm not sure that I shouldn't of waited. I got in a little too much of a hurry. We like it real well and it is exactly what we needed & wanted. But I'm hoping I didn't jump too quick & get a problem child. Time will only tell but it has not started off real well. Prescott Honda has been excellent in all ways. Why I'm say this Bart, is if you have sometime don't jump TOO QUICK. Let it come to you. I didn't take my own advise & as a rule I let my vehicles come to me.
