They'll fit the rims, but they will more than likely rub the inner fenders when turning unless you put a leveling kit.
B/c the tires are so wide and the rims are only 7.5" the center of the tires will ride on the road without the out side lugs touching with regular air pressure in the tires.
Simple solution is just to run less air in the tires, but you'd have to slowly lower the pressure to fine the right pressure.
Use a piece of chalk and mark across the tire, and drive down the road. IF the chalk on the center wears off, but not the out side then slowly lower the air pressure until the chalk wears off evenly.
Will they fit on stock 2005 F-150 rims? I searched and got nothing. TIA
You are likely talking about the Dick Cepek FC ll and if you check the Dick Cepek website the minimum recommended wheel width is 8.5 inches. The F150 wheels are 7.5 inches, so no they will not work.
the 33's will rub if you have stock wheels, expecially if you have real luggy tires, i had nitto terra grapplers 305 or 325 something (33's) on my stock wheels, they fit but you couldnt cut the wheel all the way or they rub the A arm, if your getting more mud terrain like the mud grapplers, id definatly get a new rim, or your going to tear your tires to peices. and at 290-325 a piece.. i wouldnt do it =/
any tire that is 12.5 in width will fit the stock rim just fine. It will have a more narrow footprint than a wider rim, but it will fit fine.
The only problem you will have is with the really knarly side lugs. Those may touch your upper control arm. I had the Toyo M/T 35x12.5x18 test fitted on my truck. They fit without rubbing. I had 1/4 of clearance though. So I passed until I've got new rims with more backspacing and hopefully 9" wide...for the bigger footprint
