Time to replace my tires on my F250 SD (265/70-17 Load Rating E)
I was wondering what everyone reccomends? I only drive it on the highway looking for average traction in the snow. I heard Nitto was a good tire any recommendations
I have the same question, what year is your truck? What do you think of Pro Comp Xtreme All-Terrain?
I work construction and pull trailers, I am always getting stuck with my stock tires (although I have 65,xxx miles on them).
I know a guy that has a set of Pro Comp Mud Terrain 33/12.50 R17, they have 1500 miles on them. Anyone know how they wear? Or how loud they are going down the road?
I've been doing a lot of research on tires lately.
It's hard to find good solid information about a lot of them.
I've also been looking at the AT2's except that they aren't available in the sizes I need! (285/75R16 seems to be on national backorder, 295/75R16 isn't much easier to find)
Assuming you're talking about the Nitto Terra Grappler, those were one of the first tires I was considering due to their low price, but I'm having difficulty finding actual reviews of the tire. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews with people either saying they lasted forever or they were worn out after 20,000 miles.
I also can't really find any reviews of the xtreme a/t.
So far this is the only place I've found that has good reviews of most off road tires out there- http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/index.html and be aware that the links to the customer reviews for several tires (especially pro comps) are screwed up so it'll take you to the wrong page.
