I had the Accufab installed about a month ago. Truck has 122k miles, it is an '03. I have to say that the elbow has definitely helped the trucks performance positively. No measured info to provide, just seat of the pants feel and the improvement when climbing and pulling a 12k# 5er. The egt's held steady at 800-900 during some heavy climbs and the boost never went above 25 psi. I would recommend the elbow.

Did you get the '03 Accufab elbow or did you get the '05 and later elbow and remove the "throttle body"? I think I would go with the later version and eliminate the useless throttle body.
The elbow only. If I had been better informed, I would have gotten the one that eliminates the throttle body. Still, can't say that I am unhappy with the results. I think that the change is a big positive for performance (egt's and boost) for what seems like a simple addition. I recommend it cause it made a positive difference in the truck.
My power elbow gave me no improvements what so ever. I have an 03 6L in which when I ripped out the stock elbow and what was an imiatation throttle body it had no inside restrictive butterfly valve the later models have. So in general I replaced the stock elbow with a nicer cleaner one externally but with no internal improvements.
I agree that later ealier 6L models may benefit from the aftermarket elbow as they had the more restrictive internal butterfly valve and 90 degree elbow bend vs what the 03's like mine had. This is what the documented test was based - later 06 trucks that had the more restrictive intake.
I would suggest keep this in mind when considering buying the elbow.

I have a different experience with my '03 and '04...
The power elbow was originally installed on the '03 F350 with good results. After that truck was stolen, recovered and subsequently declared a total-loss, I retained all of the AM parts and installed them on my current '04 F250.
The performance and economy gains continue to be the same on this '04 truck with the power elbow installed. I count myself lucky, and should point out that the '03 was a late model and the '04 an early model, so the motors are basically identical builds.
i have had my accufab elbow on my 2006 ps now for 15 months, i beleive the engine breaths better, and has better throttle response, plus i like the ease of hooking up a boost gauge in the existing port on the elbow.............i think this elbow makes an even bigger difference when u are running a 60hp-100hp tune in the truck.........i have pic in my gallery of this elbow install, check them out...................
The Accufab Power Elbow is now installed. I took a 20 mile highway trip and watched the electronic mpg read-out go from 19.1 (average for 300 miles of driving to and from work) to 19.3. Just to be honest and accurate, my lie-o-meter always reads around 1.2 mpg high, so my real fuel economy is around 18 mpg. I have tracked the difference between actual and electronic mpg since about 2000 miles.
This is a GREAT first sign!!!!!!!!! I know, I know ......... it is way too early to tell. It is just a good feeling to install a mod! I wonder what will happen after all the easy mods are done???? What will my next <STRIKE>fix</STRIKE> mod be?????
Oh yeah ............. Ravelco, DashDaq and some aftermarket sensors!!!!!!!!!!!
In actuality, my next task should probably be to clean the EGR valve. Looking at it w/ the elbow off revealed it to look a whole lot dirtier than I expected!
Edit:
Did I happen to mention I LOVE the harpoon mod. 300 miles and I still show 2/3rds of a tank left!
