I'd agree with cutting out the small lug, if these are for trails, then I'd cut the groove out of the big lug like you were saying, that'll give you better lateral traction
It will spin em in HI range now. Even if I had to use low range with em cut that is ok by me. That is what I am after, lateral traction. Sidehilling grip. It really sux now unless they are spinning like crazy it seems.

I run the tires at 25 psi on the road. When I get to the trail, I drop em down to 15 psi. If yall think lower than 15 would be better, I can always make/buy some beadlocks or put sheetmetal screws through the rim/tire and slime em. Run at 5 to 8 psi. Right now I have to be careful on how low I go, turning while spinning and tires grabbing a rock can cause probs.

Then I'd say cut them, and maybe put 2 crosscuts in each lug, kinda v shaped if that makes sense

Yes Yes. Makes perfect sense. What width cut 1/2" gap out of the main lugs?

I'd say more like .25in, more of a groove, rather than cutting down all the way through the lug, or go with one .5in cut. and maybe don't cut out the entire small lug? if you could remove most of it, but leave like a 1in wide chunk that would help with sidehilling too, just thinkin

I had a set of those, doing bunouts on chitty roads, makes a nice aquatred style groove in 3 or 4 places on the tire. They smoke pretty good though and cheap.

Cut liberators sound better, but my gear ratio would be way off with 31" tires. Prob, spin all over the place and not get crap for fuel economy, go from 10 to like 3.

That is where my prob. is. No fixed terrain. Goes from 4ft deep bogs, to trees and stumps, to pizza dough mud with rocks mixed in.

And ocassianlly crawing over a junk honda or two.

I think an all-terrain would work best. BWAHHAHAAAA.

Be good for rocks, but the old diffs would smash everywhere. 8" of lost clearance is a heap.

But I could enter it into a burnout contest. Put it in 2nd and hammer on it.
