the 351M/400 has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 429/460
I have a C6 in my car now and its a little big, plus the C4 weighte less.I only need the bellhousing from the 351M/400-C4,but if someone has a trans and bell working or not i would be interested
C/6 IS THE ONLY TRANS FORD EVER PUT BEHIND ANYTHING 351CID OR BIGGER. OTHER THAN FINDING A GOOD FMX TRANNY{AND SOMEONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY BUILD IT RIGHT}YOUR STUCK AS FAR AS AUTO'S GO.I MAY BE WRONG,BUT I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A C/4 WITH A 385 SERIES BOLT PATTERN.

I'm not sure how long this trans was used or made but, Ford did make such a animal. It will bolt behind a 385 series BB. As far as I know and found, it has never been used behind a 429/460 and does share the same bolt pattern as the 335 series per Tbolt460 statement.
It is now being used in my 71 Mach with a 514 stroker soon to be equipped with a Gear Venders Trans.
