I have a 04 stx 4x4 4.6 v8, have the edge for about 11 months, went for my emsions test today, well it didnt fail, but was rejected the guy asked if i had any repairs done, said no its a ford, oil change said no, or if my battery ran down or if i jumped someone, said no, returned the truck to stock and disconected the obd plug drove to the place which was 10-15 min away, the guy said i should drive it around for a few days stop and go and highway driving and i should be fine, he didnt know i have a edge unit, but said i should be able to take the test during the week or next weekend, has any one had this problem, if so what did you do, thanks guys!!!

I took mine in with the Edge Level 3 tune and it passed just fine. The state your in may make a difference. I'm in Texas. The machine was showing that your computer had been changed and not had opportunity to fully adjust. That was why it was rejected and why you need several drive cycles.
