96 PSD Trans question
My e4od is still taking a long time to shift from 2nd to 3rd. All other shifts are fine. Well shifting into OD at 35 mph is a little low for me. But the 2nd to 3rd thing baffles me. Starts to shift, hangs there for a couple of secs, then completes the shift. Unless I really nail the throttle. Then it slams into 3rd. My tranny guy can't figure it out, and Ford says it's normal. This is my 3rd truck with an e4od, and the other ones didn't do this.
