Did you measure your rear height before and after? I am curious how much it raised your rear.

You need to stop worrying about my rear

No - I'm a slacker. I was too worried about getting it done before dark to do any before/after measurments or pics. I 'looks' like it's the same height.

It shouldn't raise the rear at all; the RAS isn't designed to do anything until under load.

We have our first camping trip in a few weeks and that will be the real test.
That sucks about the space. Glad to hear you like the RAS. You mean you took the Excursion through a slalom.

anybody heard from our eBay dude yet? I paid him late Fri night, got the invoice from him and the receipt from paypal, but no other correspondence. I'm too worried about it, it just seems most ebayers respond quicker than that. I haven't tried to contact him yet, I will send an email tomorrow if I do not hear from him by morning.

I'm not that concerned yet... the dude has over 4000 hits on his rating and the % of positives is over 99%... looks to me the guy does a high volume surplus type business... My past experiences with this type of seller is they have your address from the paypal, therefore, they send the item without any other communication to the buyer... not the way I do it... but, I sell very few items and can keep track of whom I send emails to.

I'm looking at picking up a set for my 2001 7.3 PSD X. It has 76,000 miles, and I haven't had a chance to pull my 21' TT yet. But, with the WD hitch, I don't expect a big problem with it. Same set-up I used on my F-150, and it pulled fine. But we are kicking around the idea of getting a bigger TT, and I figure it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!! And for $100, how can you go wrong!!!

I pulled my 24' all over the place with no problems. best truck i ever pulled it with. but as soon as we traded for the 30', wow what a difference. Like you said you can't go wrong for $100. I've noticed the Ex seems to sag lower than my 1/2 ton with my other non WD trailer setups, I'm sure the RAS will help with that too.
