Chip Prob?

why would my truck seem to cut in/out when i push down on it? just started since this chip. but, at the same time is when i had the spring issues. think it could be from un-stable fuel press?

i think most any chip is stackable but your injectors and hpop wont be able to keep up

you can have the downloaded tuner installed and a true chip on top of it, probably has some sick low end power but i'm sure a check engine light follows shortly as does some incredible egt's

can't stack chip or tuners. If a tuner used on the PCM then a chip is installed the chi overrides the tuner/pcm. Dude may have it done that way but its not doing any good.

oh, i didnt know. i figured theyd conflict. so if your hpop and injectors are up to par, and you stacked a TW chip with the 120 top mode, and a bully dog with a 75 top mode, would you really have 195 over stock?

no there is only one slot for a chip. when a chip is installed it cancels out any tuner that has a program installed. The only things you can stack with a chip or tuner is like a 10k mod or edge box (glorified 10K mod)

If they are doing it on a Powerstroke they have no idea what they are talking about. Stacking is a Cummins thing mostly cause they have different modules they can use. Some of those aren't really chips just units that up the fuel.

BTW the problem you are having. Are you pushing down on the chip or the throttle?

the banks 6 gun tuners and the edge box's can be stacked as well, i had many people come to the dealer with the 6 gun's stacked on top of other chips/tuners. they do work together it all depends on what 2 units you are using. i dont recomend doing it though. everyone of those trucks, while they pulled there ***** off, had serious issues.
