Your speedometer can be recalibrated up to six times in the life of the vehicle. You say yours is off which is not surprising with the large tires. Trying to determine the gear ratio by reading the RPMs at certain MPH may not be accurate unless the speedometer is accurate. Using Interstate mile markers and a watch vary your speed until you drive a mile every sixty seconds for several miles. Then read your RPM and MPH to report back here.
fordfuelinjection.com should have info on what those codes are. your haynes manual should also have that info or a quick search on the web as well i would think.
im looking at a rear axle of a f250 the metal tag on it says "v122c" and "55 10 29 e16" dose any one no the gearing on that and is it good enough to push 35's
thanks
so you plan on running 2 sets of spares since the f250 rear end is 8 lug. or do you plan on converting your front end to 8 lug so it matches? your 8.8 will handle 35's. i have 35's and 4.88 gears and wheel often enough and dont have any problems. if you plan on running 37's is when you need to look into a larger differential.
alex, go into the control panel at the top of the page and fill out the signature area with info on your bronco. this way as you post and the thread gets bigger we can always see what you have now.
