Not aware of any full-size Bronco having an OEM steering stabilizer. They are available as an aftermarket item. I could be dead wrong. Someone may well have information to the contrary.
I think maybe it was optional equipment, cause my old 83 did'nt have one but my 82 that I drive now has one.
You can pick up a steering stabilizer kit for about 40 bucks.
I feel that they help on the road and hyway.
good luck
Rancho makes a nice steering stabilizer kit! I added one to my 84 Bronco this past weekend! It took me 30 minutes to install and $20 bucks for the 5/8" drill bit. But Worth every penny!
Ive never run a vehicle with a stabilizer. My truck seems to wander a bit, do you think one will help? My alignment is good, so its not that. Any ideas?
My bronco never wandered, but when I hit puddles on the road or a bad pot hole (Boston has some good ones this year) then it would wander.... Its ALOT better now!

I have a factory stabilizer off of a 82 Bronco, and I would like to put it on my 1986 Bronco. Do you have some pictures of that on your truck? I need to know where to drill the holes to mount the bracket. I know the other end attaches to the tie rod end.
I added one to my 95. When I did, about two weeks lates my power steering hose broke. The hoas was in bad shape to begin with. My point is that the add puts additional strain on the settring pump.
I put an aftermarket kit on my 88 the bracket kept rolling around on the tie rod, so the darn stabilizer wouldn't stay in the appropriate position, I had drilled a hole in the little thing that the forward shock mount is on. My kit was procomp.
before installing a stabilizer make sure your tierods and ball joints are in good shape. the steering stabilizer will not add any stress to the steering pump any more then a large set of tires would.
