You can easily check the point marked "plug" in the diagram above with your finger. You should see some oil in the valley also if the leak is from this point. It is easy to fix without removing anything....

yea i also have oil on the backside of my oil pan im assuming that its running on the bottom of the motor... i just did both pedistal o-rings today and still leaks... can you see the plug or do you need a mirror... also what does IPR stand for thanks fellas
