gutting the ebpv
this may sound silly, or maby i do not understand but, if the ebpv housing is gutted how does the truck go into high idle/warm up mode?
also one more quick question:
my 2000 psd hasent been going into high idle/warm up at all this winter.untill last week it just did one time, then i noticed it trying to a few other times but no luck. what would cause this? thanks

if the pedestal was gutted, the PCM would still command the truck into high idle mode, however it will not have the EBPV to close, so it would no longer sound like your truck was about to take flight. many have gutted their pedestal, even in cold temps, with no problems.
