I would go with the single shots, they are listed as:
175/146 on swamps website. The S/175/176 would be split shots and require more oil than the single shots. I am very happy with my setup and glad Faubion recommended them to me. I just data logged my ICP & duty cycle today with the AE software and my HPOP peaked at 3,000 on 3 of my tunes and 3,400 on the 4th. I assume I have a healthy HPOP and I data logged correctly.
You have options especilly since you have a 2000 and I assume you have forged rods. I went with the 175/146 singles because of my truck having PMR's and I use it to tow our 5th wheel camper.
Also call Tony at www.totaldieselperformance.com HE can sell you single shot injectors and the tunes for them. Because if you go with single shot injectors you will need the right programs, you can't use your split shot programs. If you decide to keep your TS (Which I wouldn't) and buy the split shot injectors you will most likely need big oil (another bucket of $).
yea thats what i was thinkin but can tony reprogram my ts or do i have to buy one of his chips, or is that a ? for him. i was lookin for somthin a lil bigger then singles bc we have a couple truck pulls round here year round within driving distance(bout 40 a year) and i put my truck in the last one with what it has now and its pretty well good but i think alot of it has to do with the wieght and all but my last pull was 290' and the only reason i stopped is bc the clutch gave out on me bad wouldn't pull itself on stock, and also through a sync and now it won't come out of 4th.lol but i don't give a S@$* bout it only way to find weak spots in the truck the way i see it.
Youre going to be finding some other weak spots that will make your truck inoperable if you dont take advice of this forum, and don't read, and not understand what youre getting into before its too late. Plus "singles" doesnt mean the next step up, smallest injector out there. These injectors are either single shot, or split shot. All 99 and newers have split shots, they give them that characteristic sound thats different from a 94-97 that have single shot injectors. Splits are quieter and are oil pigs, which means to get maxiumum performance out of them it's going to cost more $$.
