Yea but it would be awsome to roll up to the local mud bogs on rocks and with a 54" bogger. If I ever get that far maybe it will be time to step up to big block power.

heres the stock "ratings"
404= 1.5 ton
406-416= 4 ton
u1000= 5 ton
u1300= 6 ton.
anything other than a 404 simply dwarves a 2.5 rock from what i've seen.
Farmers get all kinds of perks from the governement. I think it does not have any taxes on it, it has nothing to do with the low smog emission stuff at pump stations, and if they (pigs) put a cotton swab down the gas tank or in the exhaust tip, and it comes out red.... it's farm diesel. The farm diesel is suposed to be use for farm equipment on the farm only.

thats officially ghey.....
is their any addatives you could put in it to make it not turn red?
i want some.....is it better peforming than reg. diesal?
IF someone made a additive to change the color, I'd think that would be illegal.... trying to make an illegal fuel 'look' legal....huh? Someone would be in trouble.
I've driven and rode in trucks that ran on it and regular diesel, and I don't know if I'd say it performs any better... I guess about the same.
About a year ago, it was about $0.80 a gallon... Since then, a few people have been busted and I haven't kept up with it.

Each state has off road fuel, it's basiclly the same except for the red dye, which labels it as off road, but all you save is the hiway tax whatever that happens to be in your state, but if you get caught, woowoowoo, hold on tight to your tighty whiteys, cause they will plow you deep.

does it smell any different being burnt? how would the cops suspect it?
It does smell a little different, and for some reason in different trucks it either smoked more or less(weird).
Everyone knew the guys that ran it, and it would just take time until some of them got caught. So when they got pulled over, cops knew they ran it, so check for the red die, and big fines came. There were people in high school running the stuff, and middel aged men... It's hard to resist something like that.
