Yea but it would be awsome to roll up to the local mud bogs on rocks and with a 54" bogger. If I ever get that far maybe it will be time to step up to big block power.

yeah its def. sweet, and people will think your badass just b/c you have rocks....hahahaha

if you want to be really cool go with mogs...

heres the stock "ratings"
404= 1.5 ton
406-416= 4 ton
u1000= 5 ton
u1300= 6 ton.

anything other than a 404 simply dwarves a 2.5 rock from what i've seen.

Yeah, I'm just messing with you about the rocks ( just like the junky yukon shafts).

But I'd be willing to bet that I could get buy running cut boggers in my town.

IF the tractors can ride on the road with v treads, I don't see why I can't.... haha

Only thing I've seen them (law inforcment a holes) crack down on is a truck driving on the road with farm diesel. = Biggg fines

I havent seen them enforce the off road diesel much around me. Thank God. When I used to drive to work I was guilty of running a lot of red diesel.

For a while they weren't doing anything about it, but once EVERYONE started running it, they made examples out of a couple of people.

Cheap red diesel that farmers are allowed to use for farm equipment for real cheap.

It's illegal to run on the roads, which everyone still does.

Farmers get all kinds of perks from the governement. I think it does not have any taxes on it, it has nothing to do with the low smog emission stuff at pump stations, and if they (pigs) put a cotton swab down the gas tank or in the exhaust tip, and it comes out red.... it's farm diesel. The farm diesel is suposed to be use for farm equipment on the farm only.

IF someone made a additive to change the color, I'd think that would be illegal.... trying to make an illegal fuel 'look' legal....huh? Someone would be in trouble.

I've driven and rode in trucks that ran on it and regular diesel, and I don't know if I'd say it performs any better... I guess about the same.

About a year ago, it was about $0.80 a gallon... Since then, a few people have been busted and I haven't kept up with it.

Each state has off road fuel, it's basiclly the same except for the red dye, which labels it as off road, but all you save is the hiway tax whatever that happens to be in your state, but if you get caught, woowoowoo, hold on tight to your tighty whiteys, cause they will plow you deep.

It does smell a little different, and for some reason in different trucks it either smoked more or less(weird).

Everyone knew the guys that ran it, and it would just take time until some of them got caught. So when they got pulled over, cops knew they ran it, so check for the red die, and big fines came. There were people in high school running the stuff, and middel aged men... It's hard to resist something like that.
