Hmmm Ford musta cheaped out in the later years, my 74 CUSTOM emblem has studs to bolt it on.

using a little rtv on the studs will help insure that they wont fall off going down the road.

I don't know what year it was, maybe 77, that they changed and went to the woodgrain insert on the glovebox with the emblem two face taped to that. Earlier years they used 3 nuts on the back side to hold the emblem to the glovebox.
