i dont mean to ask stupid questions but on the tag does it say db2 5013,5028 and so on, cause on mine i dont see anything that even says db2 on it. the tag thats on mine says remanufactured and has stanadyne on it, but no db2 on it.
Sometimes the remanufacturer obliterates the numbers on the IP tag.
The only reason I could think of for doing this is because the IP was rebuilt to a different setting that it was originally manufacturered to.
As an example, the four pumps listed above are visually identical pumps externally.
The differences are the internal calibrations.
So a 5013 NA IP could be calibrated as a 5070 turbo IP if it were set up that way at reman time.

That 180 number looks like an International part number to me, I don't have them in my computer though.
Ford is 2 miles, 12 miles, 15 miles and 30 miles away, four different dealers.
The closest International dealer is 60 miles away with another Ford dealer real close by them.
Even though International has better prices, the drive makes them more expensive before I get there.
By the time I get back home, they are much more expensive.
well after work i started tinkering with the ip and found that the advance solenoid wasnt working. i ended up taking the cover off the ip and found that the solenoid wasnt grounded to the cover. it works like it is supposed to now, but havent put the cover on yet because i wanted to see exactly how the fss arm fits in the ip. so if anybody has a picture of how the arm fits in the ip please share cause i dont wanna have to wrestle this beast to the ground and choke it out lol. and do you think this could of been my problem?
