Turbo boot question

Hi all,

I am planning on ordering some stuff for mods. I am planning out my 6637 filter install. I want to get rid of the CCV at the same time, so I am planning on running a 4" pipe all the way to the turbo inlet. I'll need to neck down at the turbo, what size is the inlet?

Summit Racing has Turbonetics silicone coupling adaptors, that is what I am thinking about using.

Humm, but I guess I will need a 45 degree elbow in there somewhere too... this might get too 'spensive... thoughts?

All I did for the 6637 and the CCV mod was to buy some 4" stainless steel exhaust pipe to couple the filter to the intake tube, and to replace the CCV inlet piece on the mid pipe. Much cheaper and easier to do, and you still use the stock tubes so everything fits properly.

I agree w/Pocket. Very easy job once you find some 4" stainless...

I spent $8 at Napa for 2 pieces of 4 inch exhauset pipe...they cut me a 3 inc piece and a 4 inch piece. I used the 4 inch piece between 6637 and stock intake tube. Works great.
