Yeah, here is a link that helped me clean it out. It is very thorough. BTW does "Guzzle" frequent this forum. If so, I say thank you for the great pictorials.

saw it at 409 yesterday morning. i usually fill when it gets to 1/4 ort just below. lately that has been at around 670 or so miles, and around 112 to fill it with arouns 32 gallons. if i baby it i can break over 20 mpg, but if i decide to have som fun then it goes down to around 17 mog or so. still better than my 97 that never did get more than 15.5. maybe its the 3.73s as opposed to the 4.10s, the stick trans vs auto, or stock ride vs 4inch lift. haha.

Just filled up 15 minutes ago at $3.54/gal. That was a nice surprise since I read this post before going. I calculated 15.24 mpg.

Vote ALL Democrats out of office in the House and Senate.

You know, none of these political mo-rons are going to do anything with liberals in charge. I ain't exactly hi on the Republicans either, but the liberals are frigging killing us on gas. And some Republicans too. I haven't seen any national politician go out on a limb about this.

Bush could make it a national priority to build refineries and make it a matter of national security to drill for oil off the coasts of our nation AND in Alaska. He will not do it.

Remember Mexico found a 10,000,000,000 barrel oil field in the Gulf last year? What the hell does it matter? If we found it, we couldn't drill for the oil anyway.

Jeb Bush sued the US, or threatened to, if anyone thought they would drill for oil off the coast of Florida.

Not gonna be a lot of tourism in Florida with these gas prices.

It is ALL BS, and it is all controlled, and our enemies with the oil just make more money to kill us with. Funny how oil drilled here belongs to companies, and in these other countries the oil belongs to the government.

Who can then buy weapons and influence around the world.

Disgusting.

I am a veteran, and I love this nation, but if they keep f***ing it up I may retire, if ever possible, somewhere else. I have thought seriously about this.

And don't forget McCain, who will NEVER drill in ANWAR or anywhere else for oil. Well, that's what he said anyway.

Hmmmmmm...nothing to do. We need to find a way to have power, because these two parties are accomplishing squat. I ain't exactly a political upstart, but I would seriously consider supporting a NEW movement to get real change for our nation. And the libertarians are NOT the answer. Not at all.

Donnie

It's simple. Drain the world's OIL reserves while not touching ours. Then, when the US has the only oil in the world, WE WIN!

Think about what a deal that will be. A Muslim for a President and about 100 million Hispanics to enjoy the oil we've been sitting on all these years.

Never thought about it that way. Very interesting. Too bad the Japs will have invented some wierd car that can run on something other than fossil fuels by then. The Japs invent just about everything these days...

I've got to stay off of these topics. They're going to cause me to slit my own throat. The American's and the German's and a few Brit's have invented nearly everything important in the world we use today. The Jap's are very good at duplicated and making maybe some improvements that's about it. They tried to copy Germany's V-2 and could never get it right so they ended up putting a Kamikazee inside it to steer it for them. TV's, Radar, Microwave's Computer's, none of them Japanese inventions.

I think they did invent Karaoke Mark. Not that it is a GOOD thing. HAve you been to Karoake night at the local watering hole? Too many people think it's their shot at landing a recording contract. They think there are record execs in the audience. Too funny.

Funny, yes. But not nearly as funny as their inability to figure out how to get a V-2 type rocket to steer itself. Which always makes me wonder why the piolt's wore those goofy looking helmet's. Now that is funny. You have to give them credit for being able to miniturize things though. We invented the transistor and I think it was they that made it smaller. But have you ever noticed how much their high end cars resemble Mercedes Benz and BMW's. They are great at making copy's of other peoples ideas. But as in the V-2 their copies are not really as good. The VCR was invented in the USA, and the dummy sold the idea to Sony, hence the Beta-Max.

The Japanese may not have technically invented the computer, but they've sure as hell made it better. Toyota wouldn't be what it is today without Ford. Mr. Ford showed the squint at Toyota his whole manufacturing process and how they did q/c and all that stuff. The Japs are really on the cutting edge of computer technology though. The Japs aren't exactly famous for their post-WW2 military.
